And Amen to everything you've said, always such a joy to find a Christian UA-camr. Lately God has been putting in my heart a love for languages, and it began with German because one of my close friends is German. But later on there were some Jehovah's Witnesses that came to my door and I was challenged with the differences in their bible, which sparked my desire to learn Koine Greek! And it's been also so incredible learning about the culture that Jesus was in as I soak in the language....and I can only wonder how many languages he spoke! Anyway, I'm very new to your channel, but I'd like to say God bless you xx

Learning French , Russian , Hebrew and Korean. More developed in French. Just recently got back to learning Russian. Just recently started Korean and Hebrew.

I live a low energy life always, with severe fatigue and brain fog. Yet, I've been able to immerse myself in the languages of my choice, by repeatedly watching the same series/movie, until I almost know it by heart. This is my "lazy" way of acquiring a new language, as I don't have the capacity to study in the traditional sense.

It got a bit pricy... so now I have been sucked into the Apple eco system.... 😂

funnily enough im also trying to learn mandarin again because i forgot 99.9% of it and it was my first language so i used to speak it fluently but stopped speaking it when i was 5 and for a whole decade i’ve wanted to learn it again rlly bad but i didn’t know where to start so ty a lot for this video 🙏

I used to have a tutor who was looking at her phone and replying messages while I was reading . She also last minute changed session timing. It was annoying . The most annoying one was a tutor who said she couldn’t continue because she had some difficulties etc but I know it wasn’t true. I believe she didn’t want to teach me step by step and was expecting someone who was already conversational in that language . Later I found out she has an Instagram page . She probably was more invested in making videos on Instagram.

I am Chinese native in Shanghai city. My daughter 12years old and me want to practise speaking English, make friends. It’s helpful for you and your children to learn Chinese mandarin faster when you talk with us. If possible, We can accommodate one or two children to live with my family in my house for summer holiday.

I learned some Turkish to surprise my friend for his birthday (and I'm still learning four months later). I think I told him "happy New Year" not "happy birthday" because I believed Google Translate, but I still don't know 😂😂 oh well, he still appreciated the fact that I tried 😅

I've had a break of studying languages for a while and didn't feel like doing much, but still feel guilty for it. Thank you for this video! This motivates me to start my study plan to slowly getting back to it!

Hi Lindie, how do you keep all languages organized in your brain? I'm learning my 4th language and it gets so messy. On a daily base, i use the other 3 (my mother tongue, English at work, and the language of the country i live in) The new language is close to my mother tongue. Do you have any tips and advice on this?
